Germany's manufacturing orders in July fell by less than the expected one-on-one ratio of 2.2%

According to data released by the German Ministry of Economic Affairs on Tuesday, manufacturing orders in Germany fell by 2.2% in July, mainly due to the decline in capital goods demand and overseas orders.

Economists expect that German manufacturing orders rose by 0.4% in July. In June, the manufacturing orders data increased by 3.6% from the previous month. Overseas orders fell significantly in July, falling by 3.7%, and domestic orders fell by 0.3%. Domestic orders rose by 0.1% in June and overseas orders increased by 6.6%.
